In November 20, 2015, the School of History and Civilization of graduate students " the new forum" section 102 speak was held in Chang'an campus  Wenhui building C 4 layer 424 classroom . The theme of this salon is "East Middle and world history training advanced programme", which was hosted by the vice dean professor Bing Zhong Li ,and Prof Tim Nibloch , Catherine, 2015, 2014 World History of graduate students, and other professional graduate and doctoral students took part in this salon.

   First of all, Professor Li welcomed and thanked everyone who came to attend the salon, and introduced the participants to the foreign teachers. Tim Nibloch from Exeter is a famous expert in the history of the Middle East, and give a lot of help to the direction of the world history of our school , in addition he introduced Pro Catherine who came from Naka Ashito to our school .Finally thank Tim and welcome Catherine to join us.

   Then Tim expressed his feelings about experience of our school , he thought Xi'an was a wonderful place, and thanked to the students and teachers who were friendly and enthusiasm, and gave bless to the students in the future.  Prof.Catherine expressed her feelings as well, she felt very honored to teach students in East Asian history knowledge , and encouraged students to communicate actively with the teacher, improve academic thought of exercise and English level.

    Secondly, Pro Tim, Katherine and Li gave each student a certificate of graduation and took photos with us together, and expressed for each of the students successfully graduated from the encouragement and congratulations. In the free communicate of activities, the students were eager to speak, they gave thanks to the Tim Nibloch Professor and Catherine and other foreign teachers' guidance.Then students had the performance of the individual talent, Pro Katherine also sang songs, with the active atmosphere , every one so enthusiastic.

    Finally, Professor Li gave a summary about this salon, and thanked to the help from Tim Nibloch , Catherine for the direction of the world history , he hoped students to complete their studies successfully, and to make a contribution to the future direction of the world history.

    This salon provide a good platform to the history of the world professional students and teachers ,gave them an opportunity communicate, discuss and promote understanding between teachers and students .This salon also had a positive meaning about broadening the professional world history students’ horizons and deepening international communication.

2015年11月20日，威尼斯432888cam研究生“日新论坛”第一百零二讲在长安校区校区文汇楼C段4层424教室举行。本次活动的主题为“世界史沙龙——Middle East and world history advanced training programme ”，由威尼斯432888cam副院长Bing Zhong Li主持，外教Prof .Tim Nibloch、Catherine、2014、2015级世界史专业研究生和博士生等参加了此次沙龙。

首先Professor Li 对大家前来参加此次沙龙表示欢迎和感谢，并向与会者介绍了参会的外教。Prof .Tim Nibloch是Exeter大学著名的中东史专家，对于我校的世界史方向给予很多帮助，Tim也是Catherine来我校的一个桥梁，介绍Catherine来我校教授中亚史，最后再次感谢Tim并欢迎Catherine加入我们。

随后Tim就此次在我校的经历发表了感想，认为西安是一个很好的地方，并且感谢在这里遇到友善热情的同学和老师，并对同学们之后的学习报以祝福。接着Prof .Catherine表达自己的感想，表示很荣幸教授同学们中亚史的知识，并鼓励同学积极与外教交流，锻炼学术思想、提高英语水平。

其次、Tim、Katherine和李老师给每位同学颁发了结业证书并拍照留念，并为每位同学顺利结业表示了鼓励和祝贺。在自由交流活动环节，同学们踊跃发言，感谢Prof .Tim Nibloch和Catherine等外教的悉心指导，并表演了个人才艺，Katherine也演唱了动听的歌曲，现场气氛活跃，大家热情高涨。

最后，Professor Li对这次沙龙做以总结，并再次感谢Tim Nibloch、Catherine对我校世界史方向的帮助，希望与会同学认真完成学业，今后为世界史方向做出贡献。

         本次沙龙为世界史专业的同学与外教之间进行交流、探讨，增进老师和学生之间的了解提供一个很好的平台，为扩宽世界史专业同学视野，加深国际交流学习具有积极意义。
